Conference Scope
Housing Africa 2022 is designed to assess and analyze current Africa housing system with a view to principally finding sustainable housing models that will be suitable and applicable to our system and cultural values in solving housing challenges and deficit in Africa. The objectives of the conference among others include:
- Critically appraise the global challenges/constraints of the housing sector in mass housing production
- Develop, adopt and adapt suitable strategy to reduce and eradicate homelessness and bridging the housing deficit gap and shortfall in developing countries
- Develop strategic and functional funding mechanism that suit each geographical location for continuous provision of mass housing
- Develop a more functional mortgage structures that would guarantee easy home ownership for the vulnerable in Africa.
- Appraise the roles of stakeholders (Government, developers, financiers and occupiers) in the provision of and maintenance of infrastructure to help reduce the overall cost of housing.
- Provide a forum of interaction for all major stakeholders in housing internationally, to showcase, demonstrate
