This was revealed by the President of AHCN, ESV. Eno Obonga, during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja. Obonga emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Association and the Ministry in creating sustainable solutions for the nation’s housing deficit. Considering the myriads of challenges in the housing sector, partnerships and increased collaboration are necessary as the association is desirous of participating fully in the Renewed Hope Housing Agenda of this Administration. He stressed that the housing sector has been saddled with a myriad of challenges that seem insurmountable particularly the low-income group of persons. Thereby making the housing deficit gap to continue to widen with its attendant social and economic challenges.
